Description
Hi there, I’m Lori Danielle!
I believe therapy should be as unique as each individual. There are no one-size-fits-all solutions when it comes to mental health. That’s why I take a humanistic, client-centered approach where you take the lead in navigating the challenges of everyday life.
My focus
I specialize in working with individuals dealing with addiction, anxiety, bipolar disorder, codependency, depression, dual diagnosis, grief, mood disorders, relationship issues, self-esteem, stress, substance use, trauma, and PTSD. I’m here to provide a safe space for you to explore and navigate life’s experiences.
My approach
I utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities tailored to your unique needs and goals. My approach draws from attachment-based work, cognitive behavioral techniques, experiential therapy, mindfulness-based practices, motivational interviewing, narrative therapy, and trauma-focused methods.
My communication style
You can expect me to be an attentive, empathetic listener. I aim to create an open, non-judgmental environment where you feel comfortable sharing your thoughts and feelings. Our communication will be a collaborative dialogue focused on your growth and well-being.
My journey to mental healthcare
My journey in mental healthcare was driven by a desire to help others navigate life’s challenges. I served in the United States Air Force, an experience that exposed me to diverse cultures and people, further fueling my passion for this field.
My goals for you
My goal is to empower you with the tools and insights to overcome obstacles, gain self-awareness, and cultivate a more fulfilling life. Together, we’ll work towards building resilience, enhancing your coping skills, and uncovering your inner strengths.
Our first session
During our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know each other and establishing a strong therapeutic alliance. I’ll listen to your story, discuss what brings you to therapy, and collaborate with you to define your goals. This session lays the foundation for our work together.
