The Downtown Vacaville Business Improvement District (BID) is following the Main Street America approach to downtown revitalization. ย Downtown Vacaville enriches our community by supporting the vibrant economic activity of over 450 businesses across various industries and hosting community-centric local events. We are dedicated to preserving our rich history while driving economic growth and revitalization to ensure a balanced focus on preservation-based development and modern enhancements.
Through our dedicated efforts, the Downtown Vacaville BID ensures a vibrant, resilient, and inclusive downtown that reflects both our storied past and our ambitious future.

The City is conducting a study to evaluate Downtownโs existing lighting, which improvements are needed, their priority level to the community, and funding. This study includes an inventory of the Cityโs lighting in the central Downtown area, an evaluation of specific sites, and a report on the findings and initial recommendations for lighting in Downtown Vacaville.
To help inform the studyโs recommendations, the City is seeking community input through a variety of outreach initiatives including online and in-person.
